Program
Day 1 - Departure from Douala (or Abidjan)
Day of departure! Gathering at the airport of Douala / Abidjan-Félix Houphouët Boigny airport at 10:00 am for the departure formalities. 2:00 pm take off to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, your guide will transfer you from the airport to your hotel.
Day 2 - Exploration day with an Egyptologist
After your breakfast, you will meet your local Egyptologist guide, who will accompany you to the Giza plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the great pyramids of Cheops, Khephren and Mykerinos, enjoy your camel ride and last stop to admire the famous Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and the Papyrus Institute.
After this long ride, you are driven back to the hotel.
Day 3 - Cairo City Tour
After breakfast, your guide will accompany you through the streets of old Cairo to discover a part of the Egyptian social life and drink your tea in the first coffee shop in Egypt, you will visit the houses and mosques dating from the 12th century AD, the great Bazaar. The tour will be punctuated by a lunch of the traditional Egyptian dish Koshary.
After this long walk, you will be driven back to the hotel.
